Israeli forces continue large-scale military onslaught on Tulkarem and Nour Shams camps

TULKARM, December, 25, 2024 (WAFA) – An elderly Palestinian man and a girl were injured in Tulkarm camp by shrapnel from Israeli occupation bullets, during the ongoing aggression on the camp for the second day in a row.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said that its crews dealt with an injury to an elderly man, 69, who was injured by shrapnel in the face, and was transferred to the hospital,

Meanwhile, a girl was also injured by shrapnel in the shoulder and was transferred to the hospital, as well as an injury to paramedic Ahmed Hattab in the neck while working inside the camp, and his condition was described as stable.

It added that it transferred two young men injured by shrapnel from Tulkarm camp to the hospital.

In a related context, the occupation forces sent more military reinforcements to Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps, and were stationed at their entrances, while their bulldozers continued to destroy and sabotage the infrastructure and citizens' properties.

Local sourcest said that the occupation bulldozers wreaked havoc and destruction in the streets of the two camps, and closed a number of neighborhoods with earth mounds, including the entrance to Al-Mahjar neighborhood, and Al-Manshiya and Al-Maslakh neighborhoods in Nour Shams camp, and caused massive destruction along Nablus Street adjacent to Nour Shams camp, which is the main entrance to the city.

The occupation forces several homes homes in the two camps and turned them into military observation points, while deploying their snipers on top the rooftops of several buildings.

The occupation soldiers also demolished the internal walls of the homes after raiding them and moving through their openings to other homes in Nour Shams camp, which caused great destruction in them.

The occupation forces blew up a home for the Sarouji family in Al-Sawalma neighborhood in Tulkarm camp.

In a later development, occupation patrols stormed the Dhnaba suburb and Ezbet al-Jarad, east of Tulkarm, and roamed the streets, raided a number of homes and buildings, searched them, and subjected their residents to interrogation.
