TULKAREM, December 24, 2024 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was found shot and killed on Tuesday night during Israel's ongoing military assault on Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem, according to local sources.

Sources confirmed that 22-year-old Mahmoud Mohammad Khaled succumbed to serious injuries after being shot earlier this evening during an Israeli raid on the camp. His body was discovered by residents in the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq neighborhood.

The killing of Khaled brings the number of Palestinians killed in Tulkarem and Nur Shams camps today to eight, seven of whom were killed by Israeli fire and drone strikes in the Al-Hamam neighborhood of Tulkarem refugee camp.

Earlier this evening, several Palestinians were injured in an Israeli shelling that targeted the Nur Shams refugee camp, east of Tulkarem.
