HEBRON, Tuesday, July 23, 2024 (WAFA) - A Palestinian young man was Tuesday morning killed by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Sa’ir, northeast of Hebron.
The Ministry of Health said that Jihad Mohammad Hussein Shalalda, 39, died from the critical wounds he sustained following his shooting by the occupation soldiers.
Local sources said that the occupation forces fired live bullets at citizens during a raid into the town, seriously wounding Shalaldah, before his succumbed to his injuries later.
At dawn, the occupation forces stormed the town of Sa'ir and carried out extensive raids and searches that affected a number of citizens' homes, including detention, field interrogations, and beatings, which led to the outbreak of confrontations in the town, during which soldiers fired live bullets and poison and tear gas bombs.
