JENIN, Saturday, May 13, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested a Palestinian child today during a raid into the village of Rummaneh, to the northwest of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, according to Palestinian security and local sources.
The child was identified as Ayasar Ahmad Bushnak, a resident of Rummaneh. He was taken by the army to an unknown destination.
According to Defense for Children International, Israel is the only country in the world that systematically detains and prosecutes children in military courts.
