After closing it for one week, Israel reopens a Jenin crossing
Al-Jalama crossing in the Jenin district.

JENIN, Saturday, April 16, 2022 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation authorities today reopened al-Jalama crossing with Jenin after closing it for eight days in a collective punishment step, according to Palestinian security sources.

They said the crossing was reopened for normal movement in both directions.

The crossing was closed and all Jenin residents were banned from entering Israel in a collective punishment step against the entire district after a Palestinian resident of the district was involved in an attack in Tel Aviv last week.
