BETHLEHEM, September 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists today uprooted several olive trees and plowed agricultural land in the Jabal al-Qarn area of Al-Minya village, east of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
Head of the Al-Minya Village Council Ahmad Kawazbeh told WAFA that colonists raided Palestinian citizens’ lands in the area and used agricultural machinery to plow the land after uprooting several olive trees planted there.
Kawazbeh said the attack is part of ongoing attempts to seize Palestinian citizens’ lands and impose a new colonial fait accompli in the area.
He called on the relevant official and legal authorities to intervene urgently, document the attack, and take the necessary measures to protect the lands and safeguard the rights of their owners.
