JERUSALEM, Thursday, January 27, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces today attacked Palestinian youths in several East Jerusalem neighborhoods who came out to play in the snow which covered most of Palestine, injuring some and arresting others.

Local sources said Israeli police attacked youths in Isawiyya, Jabal al-Mukabber, and at Damascus Gate, the main gate to the old city.

The forces fired rubber bullets and concussion bombs at the youths in order to disperse them while they detained one in the old city, another in Jabal al-Mukabber and a third in Isawiyya.

Reports said police detained at least 24 Palestinian youths in Jerusalem since last night and this morning, most of them in al-Tur neighborhood.
