RAMALLAH, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday overnight sealed off the entrances to Silwad town, north of Ramallah, and Kafr Ad-Dik town, west of Salfit, according to local sources.
They said that Israeli soldiers placed cement blocks at the main southern entrance of Silwad, denying the town residents access through it and forcing them to use long alternative routes.
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers closed the metal gate installed at the main western entrance of Kafr Ad-Dik, forcing the residents to use rough roads to reach their workplaces.

Closures besides to other measures, taken under the guise of security, are intended to entrench Israel’s 54-year-old military occupation of the West Bank and its settler colonial project which it enforces with routine and frequently deadly violence against Palestinians.
