JERICHO, January 18, 2011 (WAFA) –  The Palestinian news agency WAFA signed today a cooperation agreement with the Russian intergovernmental information agency NOVOSTY.

 The agreement was signed in Jericho in the presence of President Mahmoud Abbas and visiting Russian President Dmitry Medvedev.

The agreement calls for mutual cooperation between the two news agencies in exchange of information and to carry out various joint projects.
