GAZA, April 8, 2026 (WAFA) – Journalist Mohammad Washah was killed on Wednesday evening after Israeli warplanes shelled his vehicle in the Gaza Strip. Two Palestinians were also killed after Israeli aircraft struck a group of civilians in Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent reported that Washah, a journalist for Al Jazeera Mubasher, was targeted while in the Sheikh Ajlin area, west of Gaza City, leaving his body charred.
The Palestinian Journalists Syndicate confirmed that 260 journalists have been killed and 550 others injured since the start of the ongoing war carried out by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people on October 7, 2023.
Two Palestinians were also killed on Wednesday after Israeli occupation warplanes targeted a group of civilians in Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli drones targeted a group of people east of the Zeitoun neighborhood, resulting in the killing of two civilians.
