TUBAS, April 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces opened fire at a young man on Wednesday night near the village of Tayasir, east of Tubas, according to local sources.
Sources told WAFA that residents had fended off a colonists’ attack near the village before Israeli forces stormed the area, fired at a young man, and detained him. His condition remains unknown.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) in Tubas said it received a report of a young man injured in Tayasir, but Israeli forces prevented its crews from reaching the scene.
The society added that Israeli forces are still detaining its medical team, confiscating their mobile phones and personal IDs, and preventing them from providing treatment to the injured person near the colonists’ outpost for more than two hours.
