GAZA, April 9, 2026 (WAFA) – A young man and a girl were killed today by Israeli fire in Khan Younis, southern Gaza Strip, and Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that a young man, whose identity is still unknown, was killed in Khan Younis, and that the girl, Ritaj Abdul Raouf Rihan, was killed by a gunshot wound while attending classes inside a school tent belonging to the Abu Ubaida bin al-Jarrah School in Beit Lahia, northern Gaza Strip.
Since the ceasefire was declared last October, 736 Palestinians have been killed and more than 2,030 others have been wounded.
