BEIRUT, April 8, 2026 (WAFA) – The Lebanese Ministry of Health announced Wednesday night that Israeli airstrikes on Beirut and several towns in southern and eastern Lebanon have killed 182 people and injured 890 others, according to casualty figures so far for today.
In a statement issued by the Health Emergency Operations Center, the ministry said that the airstrikes carried out by Israel on Wednesday resulted, in a second preliminary tally, in 182 killed and 890 injured.
This brings the overall toll of the aggression since March 2 until April 8 to 1,739 killed and 5,873 injured.
