GAZA, April 8, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has reached 72,315, with 172,137 injured, since the start of the assault on October 7, 2023, medical sources in Gaza reported on Wednesday.
They that hospitals in Gaza received three new fatalities, along with three injuries, in the past 24 hours.
Since the start of the ceasefire on October 11, 2025, 736 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza, with 2,035 others injured, while 759 bodies were retrieved.
They added that a number of victims remain trapped under rubble and on the streets, with rescue and medical teams still unable to reach them.
