Israeli authorities decide to deport 12 international activists after being detained west of Ramallah

RAMALLAH, November 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities have decided to deport 12 international activists who were detained on Friday while supporting olive-picking activities in the village of Kafr Ni'ma, west of Ramallah.

The Faza'a campaign said it had received information from a lawyer following up on the detainees' case that the occupation authorities would deport the activists on Saturday morning. The activists include five Germans, four Italians, two Canadians, and one American.

Israeli occupation forces had detained 17 people, including 12 international activists, two foreign journalists, and three Palestinians, including a woman, after a group of colonists assaulted them and forcibly held them while they were participating in olive harvesting.

The Faza 'a campaign condemned the repeated detention and deportation of its activists by the occupation authorities, describing these measures as an attempt to silence witnesses to colonist attacks, prevent the documentation of violations against Palestinians, and obstruct international efforts to protect farmers and support them in accessing their lands.
