JERUSALEM, November 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation authorities on Friday morning forced two Palestinian citizens to demolish their homes themselves in the Jabal al-Mukabber neighborhood, south of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that the two, Mar'i Jamil Ja'abees and Mohammed Aziz Ja'abees, were forced to carry out the demolitions in the Al-Sal'a area of Jabal al-Mukabber.
Each home measured approximately 50 square meters and was built in 2020. The two houses were home to a total of 18 family members.
The families had previously paid a total of 25,000 shekels in an attempt to prevent the demolitions.
