BETHLEHEM, July 24, 2008, (WAFA) -A large IOF contingent stormed today with the company of caterpillars and trucks the industrial zone, east Beit Fujar of Bethlehem city and confined its residents indoors by imposing curfew,  security sources said.

The sources told WAFA that the IOF Troops started to raze the frontage of some factories and confiscated more than 20 machineries including bulldozers, digging devices and other stuffing from 45 factories. The soldiers also arrested workers and custodians and moved them to unknown destination.

The industrial zone is a hub of numerous factories of cement and quarries factories and one of the most vital economic sector.

Salama Bello, an owner of an quarry factory estimated the losses by millions of Dollars.

The IOF troops did not allow the owners of factories an entry access into the zone.
