BEIRUT, April 14, 2026 (WAFA) – Eight Lebanese citizens were killed and several others wounded in a series of airstrikes carried out by Israeli warplanes on several areas in southern Lebanon since dawn on Tuesday.

The National News Agency reported that a drone targeted a vehicle on the Masayleh road in the Sidon district, killing two people. Three others were also killed in an airstrike targeting the town of Deir Antar.

The agency added that six people were wounded in an airstrike on the town of Ansariyeh, while two people were killed and a woman was wounded when a house was bombed in Arab Salim.

In the town of Shabriha, one person was killed and three others were wounded in a similar airstrike.

Meanwhile, warplanes launched heavy airstrikes on several areas in southern Lebanon since midnight, while the outskirts of the towns of Naqoura and Bayada were subjected to intermittent artillery shelling.
