GAZA, April 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were injured on Monday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire in the neighborhoods of Shujaiyya and Zeitoun, east and south of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces fired toward residents in the two areas, resulting in the injury of two individuals. The nature of their injuries had not yet been determined at the time of reporting.

In a related development, medical sources in the Gaza Strip said the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 72,333 people, with 172,202 others injured since October 7, 2023.

The sources added that thousands of victims are still believed to be trapped under the rubble or lying in the streets, as rescue crews continue to face major difficulties reaching them.
