Israeli forces raid multiple villages in Nablus and Ramallah areas, set up military checkpoint

RAMALLAH, April 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces carried out a series of raids on Monday evening across several villages in the northern West Bank, according to local and security sources.

They reported that the raids targeted multiple villages in Nablus Governorate, including Burqa, Duma, Qabalan, and Awarta.

During the incursions, Israeli soldiers reportedly detained several residents in Burqa and raided and ransacked commercial shops in both Burqa and Qabalan.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces conducted a military raid targeted the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, and set up a military checkpoint on the Yabrud-Silwad road.

Soldiers additionally established a military checkpoint along the road connecting Yabrud and Silwad, disrupting the movement of residents and vehicles.

Villages and towns northeast of Ramallah, including Al-Mughayyir, Yabrud, and Silwad, are subjected to frequent raids and tightened military measures, including the installation of checkpoints and road closures, further restricting movement and exacerbating the daily suffering of residents.
