RAMALLAH, April 14, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said that that the country will be affected by a relatively hot and dry air mass, leading to relatively hot weather in the mountainous areas and hot weather in the rest of the country. The weather will be dry and occasionally dusty, with a noticeable rise in temperatures, exceeding the annual average by about 3-4 degrees Celsius.
PMD added that the winds will be moderate to brisk from the southeast. Sea waves will be low.
During the evening and night, the weather will be partly cloudy and pleasant in the mountainous areas and relatively warm in the rest of the country, with moderate to brisk northeasterly to easterly winds. Sea waves will be low.
PMD indicated that on Wednesday, the hot and dry air mass will continue to affect the country, with hot and dusty conditions and a further rise in temperatures, reaching 6-8 degrees Celsius above the annual average. The winds will be moderate to brisk from the southeast.
On Thursday, temperatures will rise further, reaching 9-10 degrees Celsius above average. The weather will be hot, dry, and dusty, with moderate southeasterly winds. Sea waves will be low.
Friday's weather will be hot during the day, with a slight drop in temperatures, remaining about 8 degrees Celsius above average. Scattered showers are expected in some areas during the night, with winds shifting from southeasterly to southwesterly. Sea waves will be low to moderate.
