RAMALLAH, October 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were injured on Tuesday night by rubber-coated metal bullets fired by Israeli occupation forces in the village of Ras Karkar, west of Ramallah, local sources reported.
Sources said that Israeli forces fired rubber-coated metal bullets at two Palestinians as they attempted to cross the iron gate separating the village’s lands from those of the neighboring village of Kharbatha Bani Harith, hitting them in the head. They were subsequently transferred to Ramallah for treatment.
The sources explained that Israeli forces have long kept the road connecting the two villages closed with an iron gate, preventing Palestinian vehicles from passing through and forcing them to take alternative routes or cross on foot.
