RAMALLAH, October 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Terrorist colonists attacked the town of Turmus Ayya, northeast of Ramallah, on Tuesday.
Local sources told WAFA that dozens of terrorist colonists attacked the town in an attempt to prevent residents from reaching their lands—located behind the Apartheid Wall—to harvest olives.
These attacks coincide with the start of the olive harvest season, during which farmers in various areas are subjected to colonists' violence. Such attacks include the theft of produce, the chopping down and burning of trees, and the seizure of crops, all aimed at depriving farmers of access to their lands and their agricultural harvest.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, colonists carried out 647 attacks last month. These were concentrated in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate (506 attacks), followed by Nablus (342), Hebron (272), Jenin (202), Bethlehem (187), Tulkarm (152), and Jerusalem (149).
