JENIN, October 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided several towns in the Jenin governorate at dawn on Tuesday.
Local sources reported that occupation forces stormed the towns of Al-Yamoun, Al-Silat al-Harithiya, Kafr Dan, and Burqin—located west of Jenin—and launched a raid and search campaign targeting a large number of civilian homes. They detained several young men and former prisoners, holding them inside a house in the town of Al-Yamoun and subjecting them to field interrogations.
The operation lasted for several hours before the occupation forces released all the detainees from the various towns and withdrew from the area; there were no reports of formal arrests or the transfer of any individuals to nearby military camps.
