SALFIT, October 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained a farmer, Shawkat Salima, from the city of Salfit on Tuesday while he was harvesting olives on his agricultural land.
Local sources reported that occupation forces compelled farmers to leave their lands in the northern part of the city and fired tear gas canisters at them to prevent them from continuing the olive harvest.
Meanwhile, in the town of Yasuf, east of Salfit, colonists stole olives from the "Al-Nasba" area, amidst escalating attacks on farmers during the olive harvesting season.
