HEBRON, October 13, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained four journalists today while they were covering attacks by settlers against olive pickers in the town of Idhna, west of Hebron.
Local sources reported that occupation forces prevented residents and foreign activists from harvesting olives in the Nabi Saleh area, west of the town.
The forces also detained journalists Hazem Badr, Musa Qawasmi, Musab Shawar, and Mamoun Wazwaz, preventing them from carrying out their reporting duties on the grounds that the area was a closed military zone where presence is prohibited.
