Palestinian, Egyptian and Jordanian Mini Summit Ahead of Annapolis Conference
CAIRO, November 22, 2007 (WAFA)-A Palestinian-Egyptian-Jordanian 'mini summit' is due to be held Thursday in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh ahead of Annapolis conference in the US next week.
A high ranking Palestinian official told al-Sharq al-Awasat newspaper that the three summit would combine President Mahmoud Abbas, President Husni Mubarak and His Majesty King Abdullah II to decide how to collectively advance a clear Arab position before the upcoming Annapolis peace conference.
The sources added that President Mubarak would brief the two leaders on the outcome of his recent talks with the Israeli PM Ehud Olmert, as well on coordination of the Arab positions prier to Annapolis.
