Child Dies as He Denied Permissions for Medical Treatment Abroad
GAZA, November 19, 2007 (WAFA) – A child died Monday in Gaza while awaiting approval to enter Israel for medical treatment, medical sources said.
The sources also said that an old man died in al-Arish AirPort in Egypt as he had been stranded there for months. The sources said the man was receiving medical treatment in Egypt, but his condition worsened recently.
Thirteen people died in Gaza while waiting for permissions to enter Israel for medical treatment only in one month.
Israel is placing a tight siege on the Gaza Strip, closing all crossings linking it with the outside world, since Hamas controlled the Gaza Strip after its coup.
