President Meets Member of US Congress
RAMALLAH, April 12, 2007, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas received Thursday, Member of US Congress, Mr. Gary Ackerman, in the Presidential Compound in Ramallah.
President Abbas briefed Ackerman about the latest developments in the Palestinian Territory and the efforts for peace after Riyadh Summit.
He also reiterated on the necessity of launching a serious peace process supposed to lead to establish an independent Palestinian state on the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel in 1967.
