NABLUS, April 9, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists assaulted a Palestinian man on Thursday, leaving him injured near the village of Burin, south of Nablus.
According to Palestine Red Crescent Society in Nablus, ambulance crews treated a 49-year-old man who sustained bruises and wounds after being attacked by colonists in the Burin area. He was transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, colonists raided the town of Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem, where they gathered near the municipality building, provoking local residents.
The incident was followed by a raid by Israeli forces, who fired tear gas and stun grenades, causing several residents to suffer from tear gas inhalation.
In a related development, colonists also set up a tent on land belonging to the village of Harmala, southeast of Bethlehem, raising concerns among residents that the land could be seized for settlement expansion.
