IOF Arrests 12 Citizens in WB
HEBRON, April 11, 2007, WAFA)-Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) arrested on Wednesday twelve citizens, including the Director of Education and a judge in the West Bank(WB) cities of Hebron, Bethlehem and Nablus , security sources said.
They told WAFA that Israeli soldiers stormed the house of Nezar Shihadah 39, in Ras al-Joura area, north Hebron city and took him into an unknown location. They also arrested, at today, a judge in Hebron, Sheikh Abdul Qader Idris, following a raid on his house.
In the meantime, Israeli soldiers arrested two farmers in Yatta, south Hebron city and prevented others from access into their farms.
The IOF also swept into Nablus city, launched a wide search campaign into citizens' houses and arrested seven citizens, leading them into an unknown location, witnesses said.
In Bethlehem, Israeli soldiers besieged the house of Basel al-Afandi in al-Dheisha refugee camp , south Bethlehem and arrested and led him into an unknown fate, locals said.
