President Recieves Representatives of Churches in Bethlehem
BETHLEHEM, April 10, 2007, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas received Tuesday, in presidential HQ in Bethlehem, the representatives of Christians and heads of Churches in Palestine.
He asserted on the necessity of the movement of both Christian and Moslem Palestinian citizens and worshippers to reach sacred sites freely, since Israeli practices restrict their movement.
President hoped peace to take place in the holy land asserting that reaching Jewish, Christian and Moslem holy sites is on the top of the Palestinian priority.
President mentioned that he would meet the Israeli PM next week.
