CAIRO, February 19, 2018 (WAFA) - The Egyptian authorities said it will allow the Palestinians stranded at Cairo International Airport for days to return to the Gaza Strip in the nearest time possible, the Palestinian embassy in Cairo announced on Monday.

It said in a statement that its staff will immediately start arrangements to secure the return of the stranded Palestinians to Gaza.

Hundreds of Palestinians were stranded at Cairo airport and at both sides of the Gaza-Egypt borders when the Egyptian authorities abruptly closed the crossing two weeks ago after opening it for only one day.
