NABLUS, June 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists launched an attack Thursday on Palestinian homes in the town of Beita, located south of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, according to local sources.
Residents told the official Palestinian news agency WAFA that colonists from a newly established outpost on land south of the town stormed several neighborhoods, including Za’atara and Bir Qouzah.
The colonists reportedly vandalized multiple vehicles and attempted to break into homes before local residents confronted them and forced them to retreat.
In a separate incident, armed Israeli colonists on Thursday forcefully entered the Shalla al-Auja area north of Jericho and began grazing their sheep on Palestinian-owned land, according to local reports.
Hassan Mleihat, general coordinator of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, told WAFA that colonists stormed the area, confiscated feed and pasture belonging to local residents, and prevented Palestinian herders from releasing their livestock from nearby enclosures.
