NABLUS, August 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli forces set a gate on Wednesday on the only road leading to three homes under siege in the Ras al-Ain area of Qusra, south of Nablus, effectively cutting the area off from its surroundings.

Qusra Mayor Abdul-Azim Wadi told WAFA that Israeli forces erected the gate on the only road leading to the besieged homes, effectively isolating the area and exacerbating the suffering of its residents, especially given the presence of colonists and the ongoing siege of the homes for the 18th consecutive day.

Wadi said four roads lead to Ras al-Ain, but this is the second gate installed there, while Israeli forces have blocked the other routes with earth mounds, further restricting the three besieged families, who are facing shortages of food and medicine.

Colonists have been besieging three homes in the Ras al-Ain area of ​​Qusra for the 18th consecutive day, while the Israeli army has declared the area a closed military zone.
