RAMALLAH, August 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Colonists on Wednesday stole water from the main supply line serving the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, local sources reprted.

Sources said that colonists connected pipes to the village’s main water line to siphon off water, noting that this was not the first such incident.

The water theft has reduced the amount of water available to Palestinian residents and exacerbated their suffering, particularly amid the heatwave affecting the area.

The villages and towns northeast of Ramallah are subjected to repeated raids by Israeli forces, in addition to ongoing attacks by colonists against Palestinians and their property.
