RAMALLAH, August 26, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian citizen’s vehicle caught fire this evening near the Kharbatha Bani Harith gate, west of Ramallah, after Israeli forces fired tear gas and sound bombs at citizens gathered behind the closed gate, according to local sources.

The sources said that Israeli forces fired tear gas and sound bombs at the citizens, causing one of their vehicles to catch fire.

Israeli forces have kept the Kharbatha Bani Harith gate closed since October 7, 2023, restricting the movement of Palestinian residents of the town and neighboring villages and forcing them to use longer alternative routes.
