RAMALLAH, September 7, 2016 (WAFA) – A Fatah court overruled on Tuesday dismissal orders against two of the movement‘s members and it is still hearing petitions by others, court president Omar Hroub said on Wednesday.
He told WAFA that the court overruled the dismissal order against Sufian Abu Zaideh and Nasser Jumaa and is now hearing similar appeals by Majed Abu Shammala and Abdul-Hamid Masri.
He said the court upheld on July 25 the dismissal order against Rashid Abu Shibak, another leading Fatah member.
Hroub said the court’s rulings have to be ratified by Fatah Central Committee before reinstating the dismissed members.
The five appealed more than a year-and-a-half ago the decision by the Fatah Central Committee to dismiss them from the movement. The court held several hearings in their cases.
