NABLUS, February 16, 2016 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Tuesday shot and injured a Palestinian youth with a live bullet in the foot during clashes that erupted in the city of Nablus, in the northern West Bank, according to security sources.
Sources informed WAFA that local Ahmad Bilal Zaytoon, 24, was shot in the foot with a live bullet fired by Israeli soldiers, who stormed the city in the early predawn hours, spurring clashes with locals.
Forces reportedly raided several homes in the city, however, no arrests were made.
At least 177 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces’ fire since the onset of violence in early October 2015. Over 15.000 others were reportedly injured.
