Israeli Forces Detain Six Palestinians from West Bank Districts

JERUSALEM, February 10, 2016 (WAFA) - Israeli forces detained seven Palestinians from West Bank districts, bringing the total number to 23, said Palestine Prisoner’s Society (PPS).

Israeli police detained four Palestinian minors identified as Ahmad Abu Rumi, 17, Ahmad Abu ‘Iwais, 14, ‘Odai Mustafa, 15, and Adam Abu Shammala, 16, from al-‘Issawiya town. This brought the total number of Palestinians detained overnight from Jerusalem to 14.

Meanwhile, forces detained a Palestinian identified as Da’oud Abul-Halawa from Hebron city in the southern West Bank. Da’oud’s father, Salah, is a member of the administrative committee of al-Ihsan Charitable Society.

This came as forces summoned two Palestinians from Beit ‘Awwa town, southwest of the city. Muhammad and Salem Masalma were handed notices ordering them to appear before intelligence.

In the meantime, forces detained another Palestinian identified as Iyad Balawna, 31, during a predawn raid into the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem.

This came after 17 Palestinians were detained and two others were summoned from various West Bank districts.

This brings the total number of Palestinians detained overnight to 23 and those summoned to four.
