WEST
BANK, May 27, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities on Wednesday arrested at least
15 Palestinians, mostly during predawn raids across the West Bank, in addition
to a youth in Jerusalem, according to local sources.
Israeli
army stormed the village of Asira ash-Shamaliya, to the north of Nablus, in the
predawn hours and arrested four local residents, identified as Islam Shouli,
30, Abder-Rahman Hamadneh, 27, Baraa Jarar’ah, 19, and Mahmoud Yasin, 17.
The
army also stormed the town of Ya’bad, west of Jenin in northern West Bank,
where they arrested Abdullah Amarneh, 22, Abdullah Suri, 25, and Mohammad
Abdullah Amarneh, 24, after raiding and searching their homes.
Meanwhile,
army forces broke into the city of Hebron and arrested Ehab Karaki, 20, Anas
Hashlamon, 24, and Adi Asafrah, 24. The army raided and searched a number of
homes during the incursion.
Army
also stormed the village of al-Khader, west of Bethlehem, and arrested three teenagers.
They were identified as Osama Salah, 15, Hesham Zekri, 15, and Yazan Sfeir, 14.
Meanwhile,
Israeli police arrested 59-year-old Ibtesam Hamarsheh, while she was visiting
her son, Ali Hamarsheh, who is incarcerated in the Israeli prison of Jalbou,
reported the Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC).
In
the meantime, Israeli police arrested a youngster in Jerusalem’s Old City
neighborhood, and led him to a nearby police center, according to witnesses.
