RAMALLAH, May 25, 2015 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) released its External Trade on Goods report on Monday for March 2015, saying exports increased by 15.0% compared to February and reached $78.2 million.
PCBS said that exports increased
by 6.7% compared to March 2014 and reached $78.2 Million.
Exports to Israel in March 2015 also increased
by 14.5% compared to February, and represented 87.3% of total exports for March
2015.
On the other hand, exports to other countries
increased by 17.7% in March 2015 compared to the previous month.
The report said imports increased in March 2015
by 15.8% compared to February, reaching $400.3 million.
Imports from Israel increased by 12.6% in March
2015 compared to February, and represented 60.1% of total imports in March 2015.
On the other hand, imports from other
countries increased by 209% compared to the previous month.
The trade balance, which represents the
difference between exports and imports, showed an increase in trade deficit by 15.9%
in March 2015 compared to February, reaching $322.1 million.
