CAIRO,
May 24, 2015 (WAFA) - After a closure that lasted for weeks, the Egyptian
authorities announced that it will reopen Rafah crossing on Tuesday and
Wednesday to allow Palestinians stranded in Egypt to enter the Gaza Strip.
The Middle East News Agency (MENA) said Egypt will also allow the entry of humanitarian cases and aid through the crossing terminal.
The
Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt has been the main connection between
Gaza's 1.8 million residents and the outside world since the imposition of the Israeli
blockade on the strip in 2007.
