JENIN,
May 23, 2015 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Saturday arrested three Palestinians from
the West Bank districts of Jenin and Hebron, while settlers broke down the
front doors of several Palestinian-owned shops in Hebron, according to local
and security sources.
Israeli
forces arrested 22-year-old Jamal Kilani, a resident of the town of Sanour to
the south of Jenin, at a military checkpoint near the illegal settlement of
‘Beit El’ to the north of Ramallah.
Forces
also arrested Anas Fakhori after raiding and searching his home in the town of
Jaba’a to the south of Jenin.
Meanwhile,
forces arrested Ali Zain from the town of Yatta in Hebron. Forces further
detained Zain’s wife for several hours before releasing her.
Forces
also stormed several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron and the towns of Bani
Naim, Dura, Halhoul, where they set up military checkpoints at their entrances,
searching Palestinian registered cars and inspecting the identity cards of
passengers.
In
the meantime, Israeli settlers residing in illegal settlement outposts built on
Palestinian land in Central Hebron smashed the front doors of several Palestinian-owned
shops at al-Shuhada Street in the old town of Hebron.
