Prime Minister meets Saudi Foreign Minister in Riyadh to discuss latest developments, joint coordination

RIYADH, October 28, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met on Tuesday, in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, during which both officials discussed the latest political developments and coordination of joint positions.

The meeting, attended by Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Abdel Razzaq Natsheh and Palestinian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mazen Ghunaim.

The Prime Minister stressed the importance of redoubling international efforts to achieve a sustainable ceasefire and prevent a recurrence of the war in the Gaza Strip.

He also emphasized the need to allow the entry of humanitarian and relief aid to meet urgent needs, in preparation for recovery and reconstruction in the Strip, to end the Israeli occupation of the Strip, and to unify the institutions of the West Bank and Gaza Strip under one authority, one government, and one weapon.

Mustafa also expressed appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s steadfast support for the Palestinian people at all levels.

Both sides also stressed the importance of continuing the efforts of the Global Alliance for the Implementation of the two-state solution, which recently held a high-level meeting in Riyadh, to follow up on practical steps to implement the New York Declaration, with the aim of ending the occupation, establishing a Palestinian state, and enabling the Palestinian people to attain their legitimate rights to freedom and independence.

For his part, the Saudi Foreign Minister affirmed his country's firm and supportive position on the Palestinian people's right to freedom, an end to the occupation, and the establishment of their independent state.
