RAMALLAH, October 21, 2025 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates today condemned the attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinian citizens and international activists during the annual olive harvest season in the occupied West Bank.
In a statement, the ministry said that the violent actions of armed colonist groups take place under the protection and coordination of the Israeli occupation army, as part of a systematic and wide-ranging policy aimed at targeting Palestinians, preventing farmers from reaching their lands, assaulting them, burning their vehicles, and stealing olive crops.
The ministry also condemned Israel's detention of 32 international activists who were taking part in a campaign to support local farmers and document colonist crimes. It said such practices reflect ongoing attempts to conceal the scale of violations and crimes committed as part of a comprehensive policy designed to erase all aspects of Palestinian life in the occupied territories.
It stressed that the attempts by the occupation authorities and their tools, including colonist terrorism, to forcibly displace the Palestinian people through violence, killing, uprooting trees, and burning crops must not go unpunished. These actions, the ministry said, constitute a blatant violation of international law and a threat to the principles of justice that underpin the international system and fundamental human rights.
The Foreign Ministry called on all states and the international community to take immediate action to put an end to these practices, protect Palestinian civilians, and guarantee their inherent right to live in security and dignity on their land.
