Prime Minister Mustafa holds talks with Canadian, Dutch representatives on Gaza crisis and West Bank situation

RAMALLAH, September 8, 2025 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa discussed on Monday in his office in Ramallah, the latest developments in Palestine with the Canadian representative, Graham Dalts, and the representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Michel Rentenaar.

The meeting focused on the ongoing Israeli aggression against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, the worsening humanitarian situation, and the attacks by the occupation army and its colonist, as well as Israeli measures in the West Bank, including Jerusalem.

Mustafa welcomed Canada's position in announcing its intention to recognize the State of Palestine, its participation in the international conference on the two-state solution held in New York and its endorsement of the declaration issued therein,

Prime Minister Mustafa also praised Canada's ongoing calls for a ceasefire in the Strip and condemnation of colonist violence and annexation plans in the West Bank. He expressed his gratitude for Canada's humanitarian and development support for Palestine and UNRWA.

The Prime Minister discussed with the Dutch representative ways to coordinate relief and economic recovery efforts in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, and joint efforts to prepare for reconstruction immediately after the cessation of hostilities.
