GAZA, September 17, 2026 (WAFA) — A Palestinian was killed and others were injured today in an Israeli strike east of the al-Maslakh area, south of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that Muhammad Nasser al-Bayouk was killed and others were injured when an Israeli drone struck al-Maslakh area, south of Khan Younis.
Another Palestinian was also injured by Israeli army gunfire north of Hamad City, northwest of Khan Younis.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery renewed its shelling of the eastern areas of Gaza City.
Health authorities reported earlier today that the cumulative death toll since October 7, 2023, had risen to 73,821, with 174,897 Palestinians injured, since the start of the ongoing Israeli aggression.
