Palestinian seriously injured in Israeli shelling of school sheltering displaced people in Gaza City

 

GAZA, September 17, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian was seriously injured after midnight on Thursday in an Israeli shelling targeting the rooftop of Al-Daraj School, which shelters displaced people in central Gaza City, according to WAFA correspondent.

The injured person was transferred to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital for treatment.

Earlier yesterday evening, two Palestinians were killed, one of whom succumbed to his wounds, as Israeli occupation forces continued the shelling of various areas across the Strip.

The developments came amid continued Israeli occupation shelling of the Strip, with more Palestinians killed and injured, bringing the cumulative toll of those killed and injured since the beginning of the aggression in October 2023 to 73,795 and 174,869, respectively.
