AL-BIREH, September 16, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian youth was injured by live ammunition this evening during an Israeli occupation forces’ raid of the city of Al-Bireh, security sources reported.
Sources told WAFA that Israeli forces raided Al-Bireh and stormed several commercial shops, firing sound grenades and tear gas canisters and live ammunition, injuring the youth, Mohammad Mahmoud Hamdan.
The occupation forces also detained a group of young men after stopping their vehicle, questioning them briefly before releasing them later.
